FOB is an abbreviation that stands for, Forward Operating Base. We are calling Badger Youth Camp FOB Lakotah because Youth Camp will not be held on a military installation. Like the military does, we are moving to a different location for Youth Camp. And when the military moves off the base, they call the new location a Forward Operating Base (FOB).
FOB Lakotah will offer unique experiences not available to us on military facilities. Camp Lakotah is a more rustic environment that will enable campers to utilize the skills they learned last year and learn new skills this year.
Badger Youth Camp (BYC) is a unique experience that enhances the quality of life through building the military family connection with the promotion of resilience and Individual Growth of our military youth.
